DIGITAL ESCAPE MARKETPLACE
MANUFACTURER POLICY
Effective Date: 29 January 2026
This Manufacturer Policy applies to all production partners listed on the Digital Escape Marketplace.
By onboarding as a Manufacturer, you agree to comply with this policy and the Digital Escape – Terms & Privacy Policy.
1. MANUFACTURER ELIGIBILITY
To be listed on DEA, manufacturers must:
- Pass an initial DEA quality and capacity vetting.
- Provide accurate business and contact information.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet production standards.
DEA may reject or remove manufacturers that fail to meet these requirements.
2. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
Manufacturers are responsible for:
- Producing items exactly as specified.
- Meeting agreed timelines.
- Maintaining consistent quality.
- Packaging items securely for dispatch.
Note: Manufacturers are not sellers and do not interact with buyers directly.
3. PRODUCTION & FULFILMENT
For each assigned order, manufacturers must:
- Review fulfilment details carefully.
- Confirm materials and capacity via in-app chat.
- Download and use only approved production files.
- Start production only after confirmation.
4. QUALITY CONTROL
- Submission: Manufacturers must submit production samples (files or images).
- Approval: Vendors must approve quality before the order is finalized.
- Completion: Orders may not be marked completed without vendor approval.
DEA reserves the right to conduct physical or sample inspections.
5. DISPATCH & HANDOVER
Once quality is approved:
- Manufacturers must package items securely.
- Be available for dispatch pickup at the scheduled time.
- Hand over items promptly when the rider arrives.
Missed pickups or delays may affect your ratings or status on the platform.
6. PAYOUT & EARNINGS (MANUFACTURERS ONLY)
- Instant Updates: Manufacturer earnings reflect instantly once an order is marked delivered.
- Wallet: Earnings appear in the Manufacturer dashboard wallet.
- Withdrawals: Withdrawals can be made at any time via the dashboard.
Manufacturers are responsible for keeping payout details accurate.
7. COMMUNICATION STANDARDS
- All communication must stay within the DEA platform.
- No external payment requests.
- No unprofessional or abusive language.
8. PROHIBITED PRODUCTION
Manufacturers may NOT produce:
- Food or consumables
- Counterfeit goods
- Illegal or restricted items
- Unauthorized replicas
9. CONTENT & CONDUCT
Manufacturers are bound by the platform-wide Acceptable Use & Content Rules and must maintain professional conduct at all times.
10. TERMINATION
DEA may suspend or terminate manufacturers for:
- Poor quality output
- Repeated delays
- Policy violations
- Misrepresentation
11. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
