DIGITAL ESCAPE MARKETPLACE

VENDOR POLICY

Effective Date: 29 January 2026

This Vendor Policy applies to all creators, brands, and businesses selling products on the Digital Escape Marketplace ("DEA", "we", "our").

By registering as a Vendor, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to the Digital Escape – Terms & Privacy Policy.

1. VENDOR ELIGIBILITY

To sell on the Marketplace, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate personal, business, and payout information.
  • Agree to comply with all Marketplace rules and standards.

DEA reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove vendors at its discretion.

2. PRODUCT LISTING RULES

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Product descriptions are accurate and truthful.
  • Images and mockups reflect the final product clearly.
  • Prices, variants, and availability are correctly stated.
  • Pre-order timelines (if applicable) are exact and realistic.

Misleading listings may be removed without notice.

3. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Vendors may NOT list:

  • Food, beverages, or consumables
  • Counterfeit or unauthorized products
  • Weapons or hazardous items
  • Illegal, offensive, or hate-related content
  • Any product that violates Nigerian law or DEA standards

4. MANUFACTURER USE (OPTIONAL)

Vendors may:

  • Produce items themselves, OR
  • Use manufacturers available on the DEA Marketplace.

All manufacturers listed on DEA are pre-vetted through an initial quality and capacity check.

When using a manufacturer:

  • Vendors must assign a manufacturer through the platform.
  • All communication must happen via in-app chat.
  • Production files and requirements must be provided clearly.

5. QUALITY CHECK & APPROVAL

  • Submission: Manufacturers submit production samples (files or images).
  • Review: Vendors must review and approve quality before completion.
  • Completion: Orders cannot proceed to delivery without vendor approval.

DEA may also conduct independent sample checks where necessary.

6. ORDER FULFILMENT

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Monitoring orders in their dashboard.
  • Assigning manufacturers promptly (if needed).
  • Approving quality checks.
  • Activating delivery once products are ready.

Failure to fulfil orders may result in penalties or removal.

7. PAYOUT & EARNINGS (VENDORS ONLY)

  • Instant Updates: Vendor earnings reflect instantly once an order is completed and marked delivered.
  • Wallet: Earnings appear in the Vendor dashboard wallet.
  • Withdrawals: Vendors may withdraw funds at any time using the Withdraw button.

In rare cases of delay, vendors may initiate a manual withdrawal request via the dashboard.

8. RETURNS & BUYER ISSUES

  • Vendors must cooperate with DEA in resolving buyer disputes.
  • Buyer returns are handled via store credit coupons only, not cash refunds.
  • Vendors may be held responsible for confirmed defects or damages.

9. CONTENT & CONDUCT

Vendors must comply with the platform-wide Acceptable Use & Content Rules, including:

  • No misleading content
  • No plagiarism
  • No abusive communication

Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

10. TERMINATION

DEA may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:

  • Policy violations
  • Repeated order failures
  • Poor quality or unethical conduct

11. GOVERNING LAW

This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
